Angelo V. 19 years young. Filipino-American. Rutgers. Queens, New York born. Jersey Strong. Brooklyn Nets. Waddup doe.
Must suck to be the New Jersey (Brooklyn) Nets… getting booed at their own home court and having the crowd chant MVP towards their opponent player LOL
Ehh, Celtics and Heat just came into Newark, and they also outnumbered the Nets fans in the building, giving MVP chants to LeBron also. So nothing new here.
As a fan of both the Knicks and the Nets for a long time, I can tell you too that this has happened to the Knicks as well…remember the Isiah Thomas dark days??
[Actually nobody remembers, over half of my fellow Knicks fans came over when Carmelo did, and the other half, the bandwagon Asians (I’m allowed to say this because I’m Asian too) came over when Jeremy Lin fired up, smh at all you fairweather fans, you can’t tell me nothing about Jerome James or Mardy Collins!!] hahaha
They would give Kobe and LeBron standing ovations as well as chant MVP during their free throw attempts.
Of course nobody remembers this, but I’m looking at you, Malik Rose
LeBron James’ “The Decision”
Carmelo Anthony’s “Melodrama”
And now Dwight Howard’s “Dwightmare”
Now the Nets have been heartbroken so many times (do you remember losing back-to-back Finals appearances and losing 3 times in a row to buzzer-beaters?). But that just means the New Jersey/Brooklyn Nets have one of the fiercest and loyal fans ever. Boom. There’s no way you can’t tell me any other team has more loyal fans. Success or no success, Nets Nation still runs deep. :)
because last year there was so much ado about Carmelo Anthony and if he wanted to be traded to the Nets. And then look what happened: surprise, Deron Williams! So I’m not stressed about who Billy King will get. I’m pretty sure he can ensemble a great supporting cast for Deron Williams :) In Billy we trust*
but then I saw his ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT rant about the
New Jersey Brooklyn Nets. “THEY ARE COMING TO TAKE OVER NEW YORK.”
In a brilliant rant on ESPN radio on Monday, Stephen A. Smith warns Knicks fans how the Nets are coming to Brooklyn to take over New York, with Mikhail Prokhorov, Jay-Z, Deron Williams, Dwight Howard and their supporting cast.
According to Stephen A, the Barclays Center “is off the chain.” It’s brand-new, not renovated, he says.
“They are not coming to play second fiddle to the New York Knicks,” Smith screams. “They are coming to take OVER!”
Because he has no ‘D.’
smh -_- lol
I need the Knicks to win for my Nets to move up in the standings smh.
Thank you based god…
Melo in = MeLosing LOL
I may hate you Shelden but you did good tonight. GO NETS!!!
