Can’t stand the Miami Heat but when they gave the Celtics Big 4 a standing ovation when they checked out »»»
Even though they’re eliminated from playoff contention, the Nets should keep winning games. It looks much better to be only two spots away from the 8th seed than 3 spots away.
They do control the Eastern Conference standings, though. They still have to face the Sixers, Knicks, and Bucks one more time, who are all fighting for the 8th seed. Who they beat may very well influence who gets in and who doesn’t.
Besides, if they get a better record, this forces the Blazers to have, at most, the 8th pick in the draft. If the Nets get the 1st-3rd pick, it’s theirs. And if the Rockets make the playoffs, the Rockets’ 1st round pick belongs to New Jersey :)
The New Jersey Nets have won 10 games on the road. Their away record is better than or equal to:
Problem is, the Nets have only won 6 games at home. Only the Charlotte Bobcats and the New Orleans Hornets have worse home records.
Deron Williams and Anthony Morrow blame the structure of the Prudential Center as to why they do not shoot as well at home. They do not like the specific backdrop of the stands in the Prudential Center.
When Madison Square Garden was under construction, the New York Liberty of the WNBA played in the Prudential Center in Newark. Their field goal percentage also took a huge dip.
Deron Williams and Anthony Morrow could be right.
I need the Knicks to win for my Nets to move up in the standings smh.
Thank you based god…
