So much for the Nets’ winning streak!

I’m still fretting over the “what-ifs” and the “what could have beens” because I’ll keep repeating this phrase: “The Nets are not a bad team, they’re just not elite yet!”

That quote was actually spoken by Stephen A. Smith.

I honestly laugh when fans of other teams think that their teams have injuries…like b***h have you seen the Nets’ injuries? They actually just lost yet another player in this Nets Lakers game in Johan Petro

  • What other team can say that 6 of their players are out for the season? (Brook Lopez, Mehmet Okur, Jordan Farmar, Shawne Williams, Keith Bogans, Damion James)
  • What other team can say they had 20+ different starting lineups?
  • What other team can say that EVERY single one of their players was injured at least 5 games this season?

I’m going to keep saying that they’re a good team when healthy. Because they are. Even with the injury problem, they have a better away record than good teams like the Lakers, Clippers, Mavericks, Celtics, 76ers, Pacers, and Knicks!

Problem is their home record is ass. Only the Hornets and Bobcats, who are at the bottom of their respective conferences, have worse records (not hating on them, because I know what it feels like to be a fan whose team was at the bottom. Just saying, fans of these teams are the most loyal. You can make fun of their record, but you definitely can’t make fun of their loyalty.)

It’s times like these that you see how Johan Petro sucks

and how undermanned the Center position is with the Nets with 2 centers already out…

Wait scratch that, make it 3 Centers out because Johan Petro just went out with an injury.

I laugh when fans of other teams think that their teams have injuries…inb4 I name the injured list of the Nets.

New Jersey Nets away record vs. home record

The New Jersey Nets have won 10 games on the road. Their away record is better than or equal to:

  • Los Angeles Lakers
  • Dallas Mavericks
  • Philadelphia 76ers
  • Boston Celtics
  • New York Knicks

Problem is, the Nets have only won 6 games at home. Only the Charlotte Bobcats and the New Orleans Hornets have worse home records.

Deron Williams and Anthony Morrow blame the structure of the Prudential Center as to why they do not shoot as well at home. They do not like the specific backdrop of the stands in the Prudential Center.

When Madison Square Garden was under construction, the New York Liberty of the WNBA played in the Prudential Center in Newark. Their field goal percentage also took a huge dip.

Deron Williams and Anthony Morrow could be right.

HOLY SHIT THE NETS GOT GERALD WALLACE!!!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? We finally are able to get a pure scorer who can actually slash and drive, and most importantly DUNK IT DOWN!!! We haven’t had that since Richard Jefferson, and our finals days!!! Finally we can close down that on that crucial position. I think this is another Lob City in the making, *cough* Gerald Green AND Gerald Wallace *cough* :) And all we did was trade two bums who are out for the season and a pick :D :D :D And don’t count Brook Lopez out! He may not grab many rebounds, but this man can score points in a hurry, and he can actually shoot! *wat Dwight Howard wat* Kris Humphries got your nightly 20 rebounds so it’s all good, Brook :)
Step 1 is complete. Brooklyn is going to be a FINEEE arena next year
